In this large-scale research project being conducted on behalf of Queensland Health, Behaviour Design Works is recruiting fifteen employers with sedentary workforces to participate in research evaluating the use of social network targeting approaches to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of workplace wellness programs.
CLIENT:
Department of Health, Queensland
LOCATION:
Queensland, Australia
This study will provide Australian evidence on the impacts of a social network targeting approach to workplace wellness interventions. Our team will conduct baseline surveys at participating workplaces, covering both health and social connectivity metrics. Survey analysis will identify the individuals (and in some cases small groups) within each organisation that are most suitable for targeted delivery of health interventions. Behaviour Design Works will deliver wellness interventions, targeting behavioural health elements, including physical activity, nutrition, alcohol consumption, and smoking
This Workplaces for Wellness Initiative is part of the Queensland Government’s commitment under the National Partnership Agreement on Preventative Health to address chronic disease in identified high-risk workplace settings.
